FAQ
Answers to common questions about ReviewedList, our review process, and how our recommendations are made.
Review Process
Every product is evaluated against a scorecard built specifically for its category — video quality and privacy for baby monitors, safety and installation for car seats, and so on. Scores reflect real-world testing and comparison against competing products, not a spec-sheet checklist.
Learn more in How We Score →Every product we review is used in real conditions before it's scored — not just assessed from a spec sheet or press materials. We compare it directly against the other products in its category before a review is published.
Learn more in How We Score →We revisit reviews whenever something material changes — a firmware update, a price change, a new competitor, or a product being discontinued. There's no fixed schedule; the trigger is a real change worth reflecting, not a calendar date.
Learn more in How We Score →A score is a snapshot of a product relative to its competition at a point in time. When pricing shifts, a firmware update changes the experience, or a stronger competitor launches, the relative picture changes — and the score is updated to reflect it.

No. Products are selected for review based on what's relevant to our readers, never because a brand paid for coverage. There is no fee to be included in a review or comparison.
We may earn a commission when readers purchase through certain links on our site. These commissions help support the publication, but they play no role in how a product is scored or ranked.
Read our full Affiliate Disclosure →No. Affiliate relationships are kept entirely separate from editorial decisions. A product's score and placement come from how it performs against its scorecard, not whether it happens to have an affiliate program.
No. Brands cannot pay for a better score, preferred placement, or a recommendation badge. If a brand disagrees with a review, that doesn't change the outcome — it just gets a response, not a rewrite.
Coverage
We're still expanding — ReviewedList currently covers baby monitors, with more parenting categories in active research. If a product isn't listed yet, it's most likely a category we haven't reached, not a deliberate omission.
We prioritize products that are widely available, actively selling, and genuinely relevant to what our readers are trying to decide between — not every product on the market, but the ones people are actually comparing.
Yes — reach out through our Contact page and let us know what you'd like to see reviewed. We can't guarantee every suggestion gets covered, but reader input directly shapes what we prioritize.

Using ReviewedList
Badges like Editor's Choice, Best Value, or Best for Travel highlight standout products for a specific need, beyond the numeric score. They're a quick signal for a particular kind of buyer, not a replacement for reading the full review.
A review evaluates a single product in depth. A buying guide compares multiple products side by side and helps you decide which one fits your situation — reviews go deep, guides help you choose.
You can reach us anytime through our Contact page — whether it's a question about a review, a correction, or a product suggestion.
